Submission Criteria

Audiofic does not screen based on pairings, but based on the same criteria applied to any literary magazine. Of course, there is no way to make the process entirely objective, but we'll try our best.

1. The story is well-written.*

2. The story is well-read.**

3. The story does not contain smut.

*If you would like to submit a story, but are uncomfortable reading it aloud yourself, please let me know.
**If you are interested in being a reader, but don't have any fics you want to submit, please let me know.

Submission Rules

1. No pr0n.

2. Submit a text copy of your fic and a one-to-two minute audio sample (uploaded to MF, SS, or IMEEM) to sakurazawa@gmail.com. This is to save both you and me time. I don't want anyone's feelings hurt because they "spent eight hours working on that !@@$^*# recording, just to have it rejected."

3. NO PR0N!***

Rejected!? Yes, it's possible. Your fic doesn't have to be a masterpiece to be accepted--it doesn't even have to have plot--but it has to be decently written and decently read. The characterizations have to be believable, or--if OOC--explainable.

***The thought of a stranger's voice telling us exactly where THAT part goes pretty much defines the word "squick."
